The final shipment of nearly 20,000 tons of large-diameter steel pipe piles with interlocking joints, manufactured and supplied for the world-renowned French company AGL, has successfully set sail. The vessel, fully loaded with these high-quality piles, embarked on its transoceanic journey to France, marking the complete delivery of the project. This milestone not only signifies the successful fulfillment of the order but also serves as a brilliant showcase of SHUNLI STEEL's capabilities in the international high-end engineering sector.
The client for this project is the prestigious French firm AGL, which maintains exceptionally stringent requirements regarding product quality, technical standards, and full-process control. Since securing the order, SHUNLI STEEL positioned this project as a benchmark endeavor to demonstrate the high-quality standards of "Made in China." From raw material procurement to production processing, from welding techniques to coating protection, every step was executed under an internal control system exceeding industry norms. Notably, to ensure full transparency and reliable quality, representatives from the third-party inspection agency SGS and the main contractor were stationed at SHUNLI STEEL starting from the first working day after the 2025 Chinese New Year holiday. They conducted round-the-clock, full-process inspections, witnessing the entire journey of these "SHUNLI-Made" pipe piles from start to finish.
During the mid-project phase, the French client AGL dispatched an independent French inspection agency's engineer, Mr. Pierre, a top French inspection expert, to SHUNLI STEEL for an unannounced "spot-check." He conducted a surprise inspection of the manufacturing processes, techniques, and final product quality. The results pleasantly surprised the French side. The large-diameter steel pipe piles with interlocking joints produced by SHUNLI STEEL achieved exceptionally high standards across key metrics, including dimensional accuracy, welding quality, coating adhesion, and interlock fit precision. Some indicators even surpassed those of similar products manufactured in France. Mr. Pierre, the eminent French inspection expert, consecutively used three "Very Good" to express his admiration for the weld quality of SHUNLI's pipe piles. Following a subsequent site visit, the AGL project manager remarked, "The professionalism, quality consciousness, and contract fulfillment capabilities demonstrated by SHUNLI STEEL are truly impressive. These pipe piles will serve as a crucial guarantee for our project."
Today, as the final shipment was loaded and the vessel gradually departed the port, SHUNLI STEEL completed the delivery of all nearly 20,000 tons of custom-made large-diameter steel pipe piles with interlocking joints for AGL. These products will be utilized in AGL's important ongoing port and marine engineering project, forming a "steel bridge" connecting cooperation in the engineering construction sectors of China and France.
